Splendid 6 Light Vintage French Art Deco Brass and Crystal Chandelier. An elegant vintage french Art Deco brass chandelier with a lovely array of crystal and glass drops in various shapes and sizes.

It has a domed ceiling rose of pressed brass that sits at the top of the striking central column. Comprising of five sections of fluted blown glass in differing shapes, the tall and slender central column has three crowns of six delicate arched spurs with shimmering crystals attached interspersed along it. From the base extend the six arms, all in typical deco style with their angular shaping and form.

Circular glass candle cups with little tear shaped drops attached sit above pressed brass supports at the end of the arms and all are complete with faux candle sleeves. More of the delicate glass tear drops are suspended from the arms with multi faceted crystals below the candle cups. The base of the chandelier is again in archetypal deco form and has a further set of large crystal drops hanging from a finial in the centre.

With the brass having a deep aged patina the chandelier is in fairly good vintage condition, age and use has given a few kinks and irregularities, however when hung, with its period style and elegance this is an eye catching piece. The glass and crystals are all in excellent condition. It will need 6 small base candle bulbs (not supplied) and is wired and fully functional, however as with all vintage lighting it should be checked and installed by a qualified person.
