French Art Deco Side Tables

An extremely rare and hard to find pair of French Art Deco Rosewood side tables Circa 1930. We have never seen a pair like them before, and have searched high and low to discover more about this pair of very stylish side tables.

They are constructed using a selection of solid wood, solid Rosewood, along with Rosewood book and crown veneers, and as if that was not enough there is even some beautiful ebonised detailing. They are as you can see not only a matching pair, but are sided as well!! Its hard to take your eyes off them, the lines and small well thought out details are a joy to behold. They are topped with what we think must be glass as it is too perfect to be marble which has a bevelled edge, another sign of their quality design.

We are not sure if they were initially intended as bedside tables or general side tables, but would also make very nice speaker or plant stands. This is Art Deco style and design at its very best.
