French Art Deco Comet Bronze Statue Sculpture Hot Cast Naked Figure

  

Stunning, Pure Bronze, French Art Deco, " The Comet " Figurine, on bespoke black Marble base. This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique is securely mounted on a solid marble base. The statue, overall, is 320 mm (12 5/8") high, around 320 mm (12 5/8") wide, finger tips to toes & weighs 3,35 kgs (7,4 lbs).

The bespoke black marble base is 145 mm (5 3/4") wide x 100 mm (4 ") deep, x 28 mm (1 1/8) thick. A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. An excellent reproduction of the original, Art Deco c1924 version by Maurice Guiraud-Riviere (1881 - 1947) a famous French Art Deco sculptor.

This one is signed "Riviere", & carries the foundry coin. Stock photos, so slight colour variations may occur within either the marbling or the patina.
