C. 1930s French Art Deco Crystal Bowl in Plated Metal Stand

  
A striking crystal bowl fitted on a plated metal stand. The bowl is cut with a band of fans, the under-base is embellished with a sixteen point star, the stand has a facet form upper section with two macassar ebony topped handles over a six sided geometric base. Condition: light surface wear to the bowl well and under-base; light surface wear and minor rubbing to the plated stand; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, French, maker's mark for "Noury Jules & Allain Edmond", 10 & 14 Rue de Oberkampf, Paris, additional numbers "25". Combined height 15cm/6in, bowl rim diameter 22.5cm/8.75in.
